Ron served in the US Army Security Agency, serving from 1970 to 1973. While Ron was stationed in Germany with his wife, Marianne, they had two boys. They added a daughter to their family after moving to the Santa Clarita Valley, and all of their children attended schools in the SCV.   Both Ron and Marianne have helped with Habitat for Humanity for veterans.

Ron has been a licensed real estate agent since 2005 in the State of California and a licensed broker since 2018.
